No – recycled materials in The North Face jackets meet strict durability standards. Reinforced stress points and abrasion-resistant face fabrics ensure longevity comparable to non-recycled counterparts. 

DryVent™ (used in the Quest Hooded Jacket) provides reliable waterproofing at a lower price point, ideal for urban commutes or light hiking. FUTURELIGHT™’s advanced breathability benefits high-intensity activities like trail running. 

Critical seams feature heat-sealed tape, while hydro-seal zippers block water ingress. Adjustable storm flaps and inner draft collars provide secondary protection. 

Slim-cut shells accommodate midlayers without bulk. Articulated sleeves and adjustable hem cords prevent ride-up during movement, maintaining weather protection.
